Bangkok, Thailand – June 25, 2025 – Thailand’s pet industry continues to expand rapidly, and IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., a leading organizer of pet-related trade shows, is setting an ambitious goal to generate over THB 75 million in economic value from the 23rd edition of the “SmartHeart presents Thailand International Dog Show.” Scheduled to take place from June 26 to 29, 2025, the event reflects the nation’s thriving “Petconomy,” which has seen the number of pet-related events increase fourfold since 2022.
Ms. Kunwadee Jintavorn, Executive Director of IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd., cited data from TTB Bank noting that Thailand’s pet market was valued at approximately THB 75 billion in 2024. This spending covers a wide range of products and services, including food, accessories, healthcare, housing, and even end-of-life services. As a result of this robust growth, the number of pet expos in Thailand has jumped from fewer than 10 in 2022 to over 40 expected in 2025, generating a projected market value of over THB 3 billion across categories including dogs, cats, birds, fish, and reptiles.
IMPACT remains the leader in Thailand’s pet event industry, organizing the country’s largest dog-focused expo. According to Kasikorn Research Center, the number of pet dogs in Thailand is expected to surpass 3.45 million in 2025. The upcoming SmartHeart presents Thailand International Dog Show, co-organized with The Kennel Association of Thailand, will host more than 300 top brands across 10,000 square meters of exhibition space, reaffirming its position as the premier event of its kind in the region.
In 2024, the most popular product categories at the show included pet care accessories and innovative pet technology. More than 68 percent of visitors favored products that reflected the mindset of “caring for dogs as family,” a trend that continues to boost demand for premium products and specialized services such as pet insurance, health-specific nutrition, and medical-grade strollers. Hybrid shopping behavior—where consumers research online but purchase in person—has become the standard.
Themed “Dog Show Adventure,” the 2025 edition promises an experience beyond shopping. Designed to strengthen the bond between dogs and their owners, the show will feature interactive games, immersive activities, and entertaining competitions. Key highlights include the International Dog Beauty Competition, endorsed by The Kennel Association of Thailand and judged by experts from 10 countries, competing for the Royal Trophy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother. The Professional Dog Grooming Competition will return, organized by F.C.I. Thailand, alongside fun challenges such as the “Come to Mama” dog recall race, the “Dog Snack Licking Challenge” eating contest, and the debut of “Dogventure – The Maze Challenge.” Attendees can also enjoy games designed for dogs, a dog boot camp led by Bounce Dog Sport Center, a themed vlog challenge titled “Dogventure Journey,” and the launch of the latest Pet Tech innovations. Exclusive deals and product launches from over 300 brands will be available throughout the event.
In light of rapid industry growth, the Thai Pet Product Industries Association (TPIA) will host a seminar on June 26, 2025, titled “Bubble or Sustainable Growth?” bringing together stakeholders including manufacturers, exporters, importers, distributors, retailers, and startups. The session aims to examine the long-term sustainability of the pet industry and identify investment opportunities both in Thailand and globally.
Admission to the event is 20 Baht per person, with free entry for pets and children under 100 cm in height. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the “1 Baht for Hungry Dogs” initiative. Attendees also stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including gold and additional prizes valued at over 150,000 Baht. The event will feature a dedicated zone for stray dog adoptions, as well as donation activities to support animal welfare. Free registration is open for seminars, business visitors, and business matching programs.
SmartHeart presents Thailand International Dog Show 2025 will take place from June 26 to 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, at Halls 5–6, IMPACT Exhibition Centre, Bangkok. The show is ASEAN’s largest and only dedicated B2B2C dog exhibition, continuing to set the benchmark for pet industry events in the region.
