Epic 6 is an early-stage mixed media production company that will provide high-quality content through documentary-style films, narrative films, music, digital design, and social impact marketing. The company plans to create 535 new jobs, initially over the 12 months of construction and within the 1st 5 years of operation.

Epic 6 will be a low-impact film production house that takes a principles and values approach to all its activities. Epic 6 will be a functional carbon-neutral mixed media house design to be the benchmark for sustainable mixed media production in the future.

The company will initially focus on writing, producing, and streaming content (“documentary style”) from existing sustainable developments globally to garner awareness and provide education on the positive actions addressing climate change within local communities. In today’s world, educating ourselves about important issues and finding varied and reliable information sources is as critical as ever. Recent events across the globe coupled with how we obtain, share and replicate news of these events demand we step up and seek out quality sources of information about our world and what is happening in it.

Documentary films are an in-depth and informative resource that is a perfect platform to create dialogue. They are powerful tools that bring essential topics to the table, captivatingly sparking conversation and sometimes even social movements. Character-driven, feature-length documentaries focused on the stories of real people put a human face on global issues that might otherwise seem distant or unrelatable. Hearing and seeing these real experiences through the dedicated work of documentary filmmakers helps us put ourselves in the shoes of others, building bridges of empathy in a world that desperately needs our engagement and compassion.

Epic 6 is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) -2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. All UN Member States adopted 17 Goals in 2015. Communities and industry partners are encouraged to adopt a change that will lead to more significant economic growth within their region.

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and improve everyone’s lives and prospects everywhere. Epic 6 identifies with 10 of 17 SDGs and plans to further advance the remainder of the goals during the project’s existence.
