[b]Michael Dettmers[/b] is an experienced professional, a successful entrepreneur, consultant, coach, writer and speaker. He has helped many companies achieve desired levels of profitability with a clear customer focus. He served as the President and CEO of MedX Corporation, Florida. Under his presidency, the company assembled a new management team, raised capital, and revamped operations to incorporate lean manufacturing practices. The company was founded by Arthur Jones (also the founder of Nautilus).

Presently, [b]Michael Dettmers[/b] works with a number of clients in the USA and Europe in the areas of organizational design and transformation. He has more than 35 years of international experience where he worked with a number of organizations. He co-founded Dettmers Industries Inc, a manufacturer of seating and table products for the global corporate aviation industry. The company was selected as one of the “Best Small Companies To Work For In America” by Inc. Magazine. It designed, engineered, manufactured and marketed seating and table products for the global corporate aviation industry with customers such as Gulfstream Aerospeac, Canadiar, and Falcon Jet. by implementing team-based compensation, along with extensive education and training, the company was able to shorten manufacturing cycle times, accelerate innovation, and improve quality and profitability. It was selected by The Treasure Coast Private Industry Council as its “Outstanding Training and Employment Partner.” The company was also named as “Special Honoree” by The Governor of Florida during Industry Appreciation Week.

He has also served as the President and co-founder of Gylanix Solutions. There, he delivered customized programs in leadership coaching, innovation, organizational transformation, entrepreneurship, and communication. His clients included Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts, Amnex Inc., The Europe Japan Center, PPL Global, The PA Chamber of Business and Industry, Paine Webber, and others.

He has an MBA from Kennedy-Western University and a BA in Economics from Concordia University. He was an Assistant Coach with the University of Virginia Men's Ice Hockey Team from 1999-2002.
