Paul Zarda is a highly qualified professional with significant years of experience under his belt. His educational and practical experience background provides a unique ability to perform detailed analyses in a wide range of areas, including: Static and Dynamic analysis, Thermal Stress analysis, Heat Transfer analysis, Buckling analysis, Aero-Elastic Flutter analysis, Line-of-Sight Gimbal Jitter analysis, Shock and Response Spectrum analysis, Design Optimization and Sensitivity analysis, Frequency Response and Transfer Function Analysis, Servo-Structure Interaction analysis, Modal Extraction Analysis, Superelement Static and Dynamic analysis, Component Mode Synthesis, Acoustical (in air and water) analysis and many more.

He was an Assistant Professor in Engineering Science at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. from 1974 through 1976. He was a research analyst at the David Taylor Naval Research and Development Center from 1976 through 1978 concentrating in the area of finite element modeling of acoustical fluid/structure interaction problems. He joined Westinghouse in 1978 where was a Senior Engineer in the design and analysis of nuclear steam generators. He joined Lockheed Martin in 1980.

About Paul Zarda

Paul Zarda is the Manager at Engineering Methods Group and Member of the Technical Staff assigned to Research and Technology in Technical Operations and Program Manager of the Web-based Design Environment contract with the Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB). Besides this, he is also working as the Program Manager of the Supersonic Hypersonic Vehicle Design contract with WPAFB. Dr. Zarda is also an Adjunct Professor at UCF, where he holds the title of Research Professor of Mechanical Engineering in the Department of Mechanical, Materials and Aerospace Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University in 1974 (he was class salutatorian in 1971 at Columbia with a 3.91/4.00 GPA). He was an Assistant Professor in Engineering Science at Lafayette College in Easton, Pa. from 1974 through 1976. He is also the inventor of a tennis racquet - “Zarda-Top-Spin-Racquet”.
