Gorgeous Skies Herald Possibly Destructive Weather

Impending storms bring beauty and danger, sometimes true devastation. During the time of Coronavirus, preparation takes on greater importance.

So many storms are kicking up in the area. This has a couple of effects for me, well more really, but two that I am going to talk about. One is the incredible beauty of all the cloud formations. Beautiful during the daytime, and spectacular at sunset, they seem to lift one out. Out of the mild miasma of the Coronavirus ecosystem, with its evolving twists and turns, the sky even picks us up out of the worries about money or a job that no longer exists, about safe schools and racial tension. Great beauty, the impact and magnificence of high volume aesthetics, can even dampen the noise of the political hysteria in the U, at least for a moment.

Then there is the more earthy demands of the weather and its impact. The need to pre make a few thousand hygiene kits for the people who may be ravaged by the more than likely storms as we move into the most active part of hurricane season. This year we need to add masks and gloves, and perhaps the Stay Well booklets from the Volunteer Ministers. Following the protocol of hand washing for twenty seconds with hot water and soap can be sometimes impossible immediately following a disaster, so hand sanitizer will need to be used more frequently. This year perhaps a little more hydrogen peroxide, rubbing alcohol and chlorine bleach should be on hand, along with paper towels and, dare I bring it up again, toilet paper. Whatever the weather and environment has in store for us, "Something CAN be done about it.", L. Ron Hubbard.
