Tagging along the trend of remixes and unplugged version of famous songs is the ancient but the recently brought back trend of cover songs. The appeal of the cover songs has also been a safe home for the Chicago based singer, writer, and composer, Subhiwho is hell-bent on merging and sewing together the cross-cultural exchange of creative ideas between Indian music with lyrics in Hindi & Urdu and Chicago's vibrant music scene.

Stemming from a musical background, Subhi has worked alongside Mira Nair, a reputed director known for her contemporary and out of the box approach to direction and filmmaking, on the film Monsoon Wedding. She has also been a quintessential part of the acclaimed short and independent feature films in the U.S. as a composer, songwriter, lyricist, and vocalist which were well received and acclaimed in the film festival circuit. Her early race to success pushed her to touch the untouched horizons of musical technicalities, which paved way for her career in bringing back to life popular Hindi songs through retouched Bollywood cover songs, and to pen down her own journey of life and express them through music.

She launched her first Debut album on September 15th, 2017 and has recreated the cover songs of the famous old and new Bollywood songs like Pashmina Fitoor Movie Song, Phir Le AayaDil, Dilbaro, Shola Jo BhadkeDilMeraDhadke, and MeraNaam Chin Chin Chu.
