Swathi Dinnae believes deeply in the importance of education. As a professional business intelligence software developer who holds a master’s degree in computer engineering, she knows that a good education can mean a whole new world of opportunity for many people who would not otherwise be able to find the type of higher paying jobs they need to escape from a life of poverty. Above all a good education means the freedom to choose your future. That is why Swathi Dinnae, along with her husband, have decided to continue supporting the Vandematram Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of today’s underprivileged youth by affording them the opportunity to get a high school education.

When Swathi Dinnae heard about the Vandematram Foundation, she knew it was just the type of organization she was looking to lend her support to. With their mission of educating underprivileged youth, and their focus on getting them to graduate high school, the Vandematram Foundation’s and Swathi Dinnae’s own philanthropic goals lined up almost perfectly. With the help of her husband, the 28-year-old professional donates her time and sponsorship to the foundation. Whether or not they get to see the fruits of their efforts, it gives Swathi Dinnae a sense of achievement to know they are doing good in the community and for those less fortunate.

Swathi Dinnae knows she has had a lot of good fortune to end up where she is today, as not everyone has the privilege of holding a master’s degree and having a bright career in a stable field. As such she is passionate about helping others who are not in so fortunate a position as she, and the Vandematram Foundation provides the perfect outlet for that desire.

“I know it sounds cheesy, but I like to think of myself as a genuinely good person,” Swathi Dinnae was quoted as saying. “There is so much poverty and so many underprivileged youths in today’s world, it is almost overwhelming to think about. I know it’s not possible to help everyone who needs help, but I like to think that in my very small way I am helping to make the world a better place.”
