2021 was another growth year for hard seltzers with a myriad of new brands, new flavors and new styles entering the market and vying for consumers attention. Whilst all this healthy competition, in the seltzer space, is undoubtably good news for consumers in terms of choice and availability, it does come with downsides too. When choice is as vast and varied as it is now, consumers can become overwhelmed when deciding which flavor or brand to go for, particularly those who might be new to the category and trying seltzers for the first time.
