Georgia-based residential real estate firm Mark Spain Real Estate has leaped 34 places from last year to the No. 19 spot on the University of Georgia Alumni Association’s 2021 Bulldog 100 list. The list features the 100 fastest-growing businesses owned or operated by UGA alumni and is measured by compounded annual growth over a three-year period of 2018-2020.

This is the fourth time Mark Spain Real Estate has been honored on the annual Bulldog 100. Several hundred nominations were submitted for the 2022 list. Those making the list were notified late last year, but company ranking on the Bulldog 100 was not revealed until the February 5 awards event.

Mark Spain Real Estate, owned and led by its namesake, Mark Spain, has a residential real estate service area which includes all of metro Atlanta, Athens, Charlotte, Raleigh, Nashville, Orlando and Tampa. Spain is a 1993 graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. The Alpharetta-based firm has earned the No. 1 real estate team in the United States honor for closed transactions by The Wall Street Journal and Real Trends the last four years running. Mark Spain Real Estate is also a six-time recipient of the prestigious Inc. 5000 honor, highlighting the fastest-growing private companies in America.
