From the year 1978 to 1980, [b]Dr. Thomas Marvelli[/b] was a resident in Internal Medicine at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. From 1980 to 1981, he was also a resident in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. From 1981 to 1984, he was a resident in Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University Eye Center. In 1984, he also was a fellow in Pediatric Ophthalmology at Louisiana State University for one year. In 1985, he started the study of corneal wound healing by electron microscopy, began the study of Epikeratophakia, clinical and by electron microscopy, and conducted the study of preferential looking.

[b]Thomas Marvelli[/b] has received outstanding [b]review[/b]s from his patients as he is a wonderful Ophthalmologist. He was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and in 1971, he completed his high school studies from Galesburg Senior High School, Galesburg, IL and enrolled at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, IL later that year. He was also a respected member of Beta Beta Beta, President's Scholar Program at Southern Illinois University, Phi Sigma Society, and American Chemical Society. In 1974, he won G.B. Dudley Award at Eastern Illinois University for being an amazing student in the physical and life sciences. He has a great number of researches linked to his name. In 1974, he conducted the decidual cell response in rats and role of vasoactive amines. In 1975, he received his degree in B.S in zoology/chemistry from Eastern Illinois University located in Charleston, IL. After this, he joined Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Maywood, IL and completed his M.D in 1978. Later that year, he extracted endogenous hormones in rat salivary glands.
