Cons:
Noisier – Since all the components reside in a single unit and it is placed insider the house, portable AC tend to create more noise than the window air conditioners.
Water Management – Unlike traditional window air conditioners, portable air conditioners are unable to eliminate the water in the form of steam. Portable air conditioners need to be places besides a window or should have a pan from where the water can be eliminated manually.
