Transplants - Help the Poor Foundation, expressed his delight, saying, "We are delighted that Ketto has come forward to help this worthwhile cause." Awareness is just as crucial as donating in the case of organ donation."

Transplants - Help the Poor Foundation, a Mumbai-based NGO dedicated to ensuring that the less fortunate have equitable access to organ transplants, has announced its partnership with the online crowd-funding platform Ketto.
A medical crisis can arise at any age, and sometimes even a lifetime's savings are inadequate. Such uncertainty may happen to anyone; without assistance, lives can be lost, or families can sometimes be shattered. The introduction of crowdfunding as a forum for financing for emergencies or tertiary treatment has given many such families hope. In most situations, crowdfunding is not the sole source of capital and is frequently used as a last resort after all other options have been exhausted.
India has always had an extremely low percentage of organ donations. Although this figure has increased over the last three to four years, the difference remains significant.
Through its initiative, Joint Effort to Enable Transplants (JEET), Organ Transplants wants to crowd-source finance for individuals in desperate need of organ transplants but unable to pay for them through its initiative.
Varun Sheth, Co-Founder & CEO of Ketto, commented on the partnership: "We are delighted that our platform is capable of connecting with an inspirational NGO that is engaging in such noble work." We are optimistic that we will be able to use our reputation among the financially secure to persuade them to contribute generously, as well as use our large loyal following to raise public awareness about the organ shortage crisis among the individuals who matter. We are excited to work with Transplants - Help the Poor Foundation and participate in this wonderful initiative.
