Dehradun, 8th April: The annual Chardham Yatra in Uttarakhand will begin soon. Following the traditions, the reopening dates for the Shri Badrinath Dham was announced during the auspicious eve of Basant Panchami in February 2019, by the temple committee.
After a long winter in Uttarakhand, the Kapat for Shri Badrinath Dham will reopen on 10th May, 2019 on the auspicious eve of Akshaya Tritiya. This date was declared on behalf of the Maharaja, by Pandit Krishna Prasad Uniyal at Narendra Nagar in Tehri. The gates will reopen at 4:15 am onwards in the morning for Darshan.
The devotees would soon be able to embark on this journey, which acts as a gateway to all the other Dhams. The committee is expecting a record breaking number of visitants and Pilgrims, who would visit not only for the religious sentiment attached to Shri Badrinath, but also the beauty of the journey till the divine door.
