Brazil is heading into its first major tournament with a fully regulated market. The SPA oversees an estimated R$20–30 billion in annual volume, with Bet365, Betano, and Betsson already licensed. Colombia has the region's most mature market, regulated by Coljuegos since 2016, with GGR of roughly US$850 million in 2024. Peru is wrapping up its first regulated year under MINCETUR, with online GGR of US$145 million in 2025 and 29% growth projected on the back of the World Cup. What the World Cup Leaves Behind
