Children's author re-releases recent activity book for free
The statistics are in and according to the data small businesses are the most targeted by cyber criminals because they have the least time and resources to prevent attacks.
Author Coral Lindt feels that small creative entities are amongst the most vulnerable to malware. According to recent data cited by Qualysec.com, 90% of malware arrives via email, an insidious pathway that especially affects small businesses and independent creatives who are more prone to shop around for information and cost effective services. Many providers require an email address to send information, and when it arrives, it can end up carrying more than just a document when opened.
"It's a terrible moment", said Lindt, "when you open a file you know you corrected and it's all wrong - as though you left it mid process. Somehow after saving and closing the file, the document reverts back to an earlier unsaved version. It's a nightmare to edit."
This and other errors alerted Lindt, to the problem and the quest for affordable tools, processes and a good editor to cast a final eye over everything.
"The free edition of my recent activity book has just been released on Lulu and Kobo to thank my readers for their patience and to provide a replacement for any earlier edition with imperfections", said Lindt.
Lindt's series about children and clothing (Taylor Says No! and Taylor's Holiday Wardrobe) are not associated in any way with the music star Taylor Swift. She is currently self publishing whilst looking for a new publisher.
