About IDA Awards

The International Design Awards (IDA) recognizes, celebrates and promotes exceptional design visionaries and works to discover and highlight talented designers in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic, and Fashion Design worldwide. A handful of designers, thinkers and entrepreneurs created the International Design Awards in 2007 as a response to a lack of recognition and to celebrate smart and sustainable multidisciplinary designs.

The Farmani Group founded the IDA as the design sibling of the Annual Lucie Awards for Photography, which has emerged as one of the world’s most prestigious photography awards.

IDA Winners

The IDA design competition is one of the most respected global design awards. It offers a chance to gain worldwide exposure and recognition for designers and their creative projects. The IDA Jury are a selected panel of industry experts from each of the five IDA disciplines – Architecture, Fashion, Interior, Product and Graphic Design. Their talents and contributions to their respective fields guarantee a committee that evaluates each work based on its merit assigning it a score.

Entry Description

The Yard-X Multi-Use Garden Tool makes yard work faster, easier and more fun. Save time and money with the Yard-X. The superior craftsmanship of the 180-degree rotating steel head allows each user to personalize the angle depending on the space and the type of work. The two-sided head combines a sharp rounded hoe and a strong tine fork. The hinge mechanism rotates 180-degrees to finely adjust to the most comfortable angle for any given use. Simply loosen the thumb nut to rotate the tool head, then tighten in the desired position. The aluminum construction is lightweight and extremely durable.
