San Jose, CA, July 20, 2026 – With the United States remaining Vietnam’s largest export market, continued collaboration in trade, investment, and technology is expected to strengthen both economies in the years ahead. Recent negotiations reflect a positive trajectory, paving the way for a robust and mutually beneficial partnership. In 2024, U.S. goods trade with Vietnam totaled approximately US$149.6 billion, according to the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR). U.S. exports to Vietnam reached US$13.1 billion, representing a 32.9% increase, or US$3.2 billion, compared to 2023.

To further promote U.S.-Vietnam business cooperation, the US-Vietnam Business Council (UVBC) is organizing the “US Sourcing Mission to Vietnam from Sept. 02 to Sept. 06, 2026.  The mission primary objective is to provide American companies with valuable opportunities to outsource products made in Vietnam.

Participants will participate in the “ Vietnam International Sourcing Expo”, the only event that covers 4 leading trade shows under one roof (Housewares / Food and Beverage / Personal Care and Export Supply Chain). With its unique “ one- stop,  multi-sector format, the Expo enables buyers to access diverse sourcing options, discover end-to-end sourcing solutions and build lasting partnerships.

In addition, numerous networking and business matching sessions, as well as individual company visits, will be organized throughout the mission in and around Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to ensure participant’s objectives are met.

More importantly, UVBC is committed to continuing its support for participants by following up on business initiatives identified during the mission.

UVBC is a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization established in California in 2022 to provide and maintain a platform connecting American and Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to identify and develop mutually beneficial projects in Vietnam.
