Wattsense, a Siemens Company, Welcomes Emmanuel Val as CEOLyon, 16-04-2025 – Wattsense, a hardware and software company which offers an innovative, plug-and-play solution for building management in small and mid-size buildings, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Val as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Wattsense is entering a new chapter, continuing its commitment to democratizing and simplifying building management systems through the use of IoT technologies. Emmanuel Val brings a wealth of experience from the startup world, having been part of J2 Innovations, along with a strong background within Siemens. This positions him perfectly to lead Wattsense into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Since October 2021, Wattsense has been part of Siemens, though it continues to operate as an independent entity with its own branding and sales channels. The company has always been at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge solutions that simplify the complexities of building management. With an open and flexible approach to Building Management Systems (BMS), Wattsense leverages the latest IoT technologies to provide seamless monitoring and control of building operations. Users can optimize their building performance without the need for extensive modifications to existing infrastructures.

In his new role, Emmanuel will enhance Wattsense's global business development efforts and further strengthen its collaboration with Siemens. This intensified collaboration aims to generate increased efficiency across international sales channels, capitalizing on Siemens' cutting-edge technologies to benefit Wattsense, its partners, and clients.

Launch of the "Automation Scenarios" Feature

Coinciding with the introduction of our new CEO, Wattsense is also launching a new feature called "Automation Scenarios," which is part of the Control range of the Wattsense solution. This feature represents a significant advancement towards automation and better control of buildings.

Automation scenarios represent the transition from manual to automated task management: allowing optimization of schedules and setpoints in response to real-time building conditions to save energy, plan accurately, and empower facility management.
