TAPF launches a Digital Education Programme to support the Education of Government School Children

Ghaziabad District, March 17, 2023: TAPF and Adish and Asha Jain Foundation collaborated to provide Android tablets to 70 students of Government Girl's Inter College, Vijaynagar, Ghaziabad, to mark the launch of the Digital Education Initiative.

 
Akshaya Patra is implementing the initiative with the support of corporate donors and BYJU’s to bridge the digital divide and further digital inclusiveness by providing students belonging to economically weaker sections of society access to good quality, modern education free of cost.

The chief guests for the launch event were Mr Adish Jain and Mrs Asha Jain. The event was presided by Shri Bharatarshabha Dasa, National President and Trustee, The Akshaya Patra Foundation.

As a part of their CSR initiative, Mr Adish and Mrs Asha Jain primarily focus on interventions in the fields of education, health and hygiene, skill development and women empowerment. To further their CSR efforts, Mr Adish and Mrs Asha Jain are now supporting Akshaya Patra’s Digital Education Programme, which seeks to facilitate competency-based learning while focusing on inclusiveness and contributing to the Government’s vision of Digital India. Digital tablets pre-installed with BYJU’s learning application were distributed among students of 11th standard to ensure they can access high-quality, tech-driven learning programmes. Each tablet will also provide them access to JEE and NEET content.
