Helen H. Wu to Release “Marcus the Monkey” Plus Bonus Illustrations

ATLANTA, GA (Aug 01, 2015) – Helen H. Wu, an emerging children’s book author and illustrator, announced today the launch of her Kickstarter campaign in support of the publication of her new collection of children’s stories, “Marcus the Monkey.” The new release will be a hardcover, full-color, 160-page coffee table book.

“Marcus the Monkey” will include two of Wu’s previously published stories, “Good Night, Good Night” and “It’s Time to Eat” and two never-before published stories, “Where Do They Go When It Rains” and “I Can Sleep Alone.” The collection will also include original sketches of each illustration and Wu’s personal stories about her publishing journey.

Ideal for the early reader, Wu’s books feature engaging and expressive illustrations.Her stories, both fun and educational, are enjoyed by children and parents alike.

“Bringing unique and eye-opening reading experiences to life for children is so important for them and so important for me,” said Wu. “Supporters of my Kickstarter campaign will not only be supporting my passion, but joining me in my mission to inspire young children to read.”

Kickstarter campaign participants can earn a variety of perks for their pledges of financial support, including both digital and signed hardcover copies of Wu’s books, posters and prints, limited edition and custom art and more. For pledges of $2,000 or more, Wu will write and illustrate a custom full-color picture book featuring the contributor’s children, pets or loved ones.
