Sydney, NSW, Australia, September 18, 2013 -- The search catalogue is a frequently used tool in Maximizer CRM. Some Maximizer CRM clients use it every day to develop a curated collection of saved searches to build the various lists that are used daily. Parameterised searches are a new feature released in Maximizer CRM 12 Summer 2013 that allow Maximizer CRM users to squeeze even more utility out of the search catalogue.

This new feature allows Maximizer CRM users to be prompted on the values that need to be included in the search parameters each time a search is retrieved from the catalogue in the address book, customer service and opportunities modules. This allows users to do a single search for multiple but related entries. This saves time and money for Maximizer CRM customers.

Not only is this new feature super powerful, but it’s also super easy to use too. Saved searches are enabled by opening up a search catalogue, selecting the search the search that needs to be “parameterize”, and clicking on the properties button. Then the prompt for values option needs to be clicked, followed by clicking “OK” to save your changes. This means that users can now retrieve the search from the catalogue and be prompted to select the necessary parameters.

The “prompt for values” setting is fully integrated with another excellent feature, the quick access toolbar. Users are still prompted to select the parameters for the search if it is retrieved using one of the links in the quick access toolbar.
