It gives the house an aesthetic and warm look. When it comes to durability and strength, it is likely to surpass all other options. However, wooden flooring needs extra care and maintenance as compared to other options. Here we are explaining a few tips to clean and maintain the wooden flooring.

Laminate wooden flooring

When it comes to cleaning laminate wooden flooring, a vacuum cleaner or flipper map would be enough. But, if any food material or beverage is spilt out on the floor and forms a stubborn stain, a dampened moist cloth can be used and then wiped out using a dry cloth to avoid any moisture in the surface.

Engineered wood floor

The maintenance of an engineered wood floor, a Type of engineered wood, is not a tough nut to crack. A little effort and extra care are enough.Cleaning will take only a vacuum cleaner or the flipper mop to clean out the dust and dirt. It is highly recommended to keep the floor always dry and clean. But, in case of any liquid material is spilled out, use a dampened moist cloth to clear out the stain and material and then dry it completely using a dry cloth to avoid any sign of moisture.

A few points need to be taken care of to ensure that your wooden flooring is in good condition and will not show any sign of getting mucky, losing luster.

• Maintain the temperature and humidity of the surrounding
• Avoid using oil, wax, or any other furniture spray.
• Avoid doing a steam cleaning. It can make the flooring dull.
• Save the floor from corrosive basic cleaners.
• Use soft doormats to avoid dirt.
• Use glue felt pads at the bottom of your Engineered wood furniture to avoid scratching when the objects are moved. Avoid using rolling chairs or use mats.
• Instead of dragging, consider lifting the furniture to move from one place to another.
• Avoid putting the floor into direct sunlight.
