How to check the geometric size accuracy and shape of seamless steel pipes, today I will tell you:
1. Check the wall thickness of steel pipes: use micrometers and ultrasonic thickness gauges, and record at no less than 8 points at both ends.
2. Check the outer diameter and ovality of steel pipes: calipers, vernier calipers, ring gauges, measure large and small points.
3. Length detection of steel pipes: steel tape measure, manual and automatic length measurement.
4. Check the bending of steel pipes: ruler, level ruler (1m), feeler gauge, thin wire bent per meter, and full length of bending.
5. Check the angle and blunt edge of the groove at the end of the steel pipe: square, plywood.
6. Surface quality inspection of steel pipes: 100%
7. Manual visual inspection: lighting conditions, standards, experience, identification, steel pipe rotation.
