Conversational Commerce allows buyers to do online shopping by conversing with chatbots through messaging applications/Hardware Gadgets like Alexa, Google Assistant, etc and this method has been growing in the e-commerce industry. However, based on studies conducted, findings show that interaction design of the existing conversational commerce are still lacking in various areas. Consumers describe products in an almost infinite number of ways, but eCommerce chatbots don’t.

To fill in the gaps that conversational commerce is leading to, Vocal Eyes is working on a system that enables buyers to communicate their needs to ecommerce websites and online generally through saying what they are looking for rather than typing it.

71% of people prefer searching through voice-over searching by keyboard which describes an idea of the potential voice search has. In fact, nearly 40% of all internet users in the US are users of voice search. At the moment, the most popular usage is still restricted to more basic features such as information requests, checking the weather, playing music, or setting reminders via search devices.

Vocal Eyes is based in Pakistan and is co-founded by Shuja Abidi and Sajjad Haider.

The startup has recently joined the Tech Cofounder program supported by FasterCapital in order to proceed with the technical development needed and is raising $70k
