Purity Life Health Products has issued a stop sale order and has advised its retailers to cease the sale of all Herbaland naturals health products effective immediately as of April 4, 2024.

Following it's site license cancellation and having its products placed under a Red List Import Alert by the U.S. FDA, Purity Life Health Products LP has issued a stop sale order and has advised its retailers to cease the sale of all Herbaland Naturals health products effective immediately as of April 4, 2024.

Recently as of April 1, 2024, Herbaland Naturals' Canadian site license has been revoked by Health Canada, and all it's NPN licenses have been suspended. The U.S. FDA has also placed all Herbaland Naturals' products and any products produced for third-parties on Red List of the Import Alert. Import alerts inform the FDA's field staff and the public that the agency has enough evidence to allow for Detention Without Physical Examination (DWPE) of products that appear to be in violation of the FDA's laws and regulation. Third-party tests conducted on Herbaland Naturals' products found traces of filth (including but not limited to insect, rodent, other animal filth, and/or mold, (i.e., visually moldy product or microscopic count of mold hyphae also known as Howard Mold Count (HMC) method).

Herbaland Naturals has issued a statement claiming that product stability issues arose from its compostable packaging, and also that its new packaging didn't offer child resistant protection for young children. It mentioned these two issues led to the stop sale order, however did not elaborate on the site license cancellation by Health Canada or the Import Alert by the U.S. FDA, meaning this would be unprecedented action taken by the two countries' health authorities
due to just these two issues.

While it's supplemented products have been banned for sale in Canada, Herbaland Naturals continues to manufacture and market its low-sugar candy, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) and is separate from Health Canada.
