HLH is a world leader in providing rapid manufacturing and prototyping and has offices in Hong Kong, the main office is registered and based in Shenzhen, China and a manufacturing facility in Dongguan, China.

HLH Prototypes is an acclaimed high tech rapid prototyping and rapid tooling company that incorporates 3D printing (SLA and SLS), CNC milling, vacuum casting, sheet metal, and injection molding. HLH was founded in 2008 by Mr. Vader Yu and two of his partners who have extensive experience in rapid prototyping. The company has a well-trained dedicated team of industrial engineers who strive to ensure that product engineering is within the client's specifications. With a client presence in over 50 countries and counting, HLH Prototypes is an industry leader when it comes to the production of low-cost, high-quality Prototypes from different materials be it plastic or metal parts.
"The use of Sheet metal parts are found almost everywhere, and HLH prototypes can help you quickly and accurately make your enclosures, weldments, cabinets, brackets, assemblies, housings, and other sheet metal parts and prototypes," stated the tooling and injection molding manager, Jack Cheng, in a recent interview. “HLH prototypes’ MOQ production is one of the best techniques and offersan inexpensive option for low or mid volumes production runs for making parts using metals.”
Sheet metal encompasses a wide range of procedures to manipulate and shape sheets of metal into the required geometry. There are many different processes utilized by HLH prototypes in manufacturing sheet metal parts and assemblies each with different considerations including; bending, laser cutting, punches, welding, and other methods to produce client specific sheet metal parts and prototypes. Sheet metals are some of the most versatile pieces and inexpensive solutions one can use to create products.
“Another solution offered by HLH prototypes is CNC prototype service. We take a material either plastic or metal and cut it with a series of computer-aided tools to shape a product faster,” added the company’s tooling and injection molding manager. “HLH Prototypes tolerances for CNC machining are controlled to DIN-2678-1 standard for metal or medium plastic with low manual labor, and therefore the engineering is of high precision.”
HLH Prototypes has over 50 CNC machines and typically completes projects within a lead time of about two weeks for prototypes and four weeks for production runs. Any fast custom CNC emergency production runs can be arranged with the HLH Prototypes rapid team. The company will be moving soon to its new 15000sq/m facility not far from their current location as part of their growth and service delivery strategy.
