Acne, also known as acne vulgaris, is a type of skin disease occurs when the hair follicles are obstructed with the oily skin cells and dead skin cells. It is described as whiteheads, blackheads, pimples, cysts, oily skin and scars.

There are several types of treatment for different types of acne. Apart from changing lifestyle and consulting doctors for your acne here are some least expensive and easiest ways to get rid of acne fast or overnight. Here are some home remedies which you can follow up.

Turmeric and neem powder-

The Turmeric is the best ingredient that helps in beautifying skin and neem is best for treatment of various disease. So, you can get rid of acne through the paste of neem and turmeric. All you require is 10-12 neem leaves and ┬╝ tablespoon turmeric. Boil the neem leaves and grind them, then add turmeric powder to it. Take little water to grind the leaves so that the paste is not too runny. Apply the paste for around 10 minutes and rinse it with cold water. Repeat this process for twice in a week and see effective results.

Castor Oil-

It is well known for its healing properties. Castor oil is rich in vitamin E, minerals and lipids. It is effective for several skin diseases mainly for furuncles and pustules. It also helps in removing warts. All you need to do is apply oil on the affected area 2 to 3 times a day and massage it. It also helps in removing spots on the skin.

Papaya Pulp-

Papaya contains a special enzyme that is papain and chymopapain which imposes the
anti-fungal, antibacterial and antiviral properties. Applying papaya helps the skin to unclog pores and remove excess oil from the skin. Many skin product and acne prevention products use papaya as a basic ingredient as it serves best for skin nourishment and mainly prevention of
acne.

Honey-

Honey is the best cure for prevention of acne. Honey produces hydrogen peroxide which disinfects the skin. Honey also imposes anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, healing and cleansing properties which are must for the treatment of acne. Honey is considered best for dry skin as it helps in preserving the moisture of the skin. Honey can be used either by applying it or consuming it, both works effectively. It can also be used in the form of a paste, with different alternatives such as honey with turmeric powder, honey with cinnamon, honey with oatmeal, honey with tea tree oil, honey with green tea and honey with lemon.

Aloe vera gel-

Aloe Vera gel imposes the anti-bacterial qualities that help in the prevention of bacteria from infecting the acne wounds. It also works as a cleanser for skin and accelerates the flow of blood. Aloe Vera can also be consumed in various ways such as eating the pulp of the aloe vera, drinking aloe vera juices or by applying aloe vera gel on the face. All the products of Aloe Vera are easily available in the market. You can also mix aloe vera with oil and make a hair mask which helps in keeping your hairs healthy too.
