The two stages of a 12V to 120V DC DC converter circuit are the inverter stage and the rectifier and filter stage. Wiring IC1 NE555 as a present table stablemultivibrator with a variable inductance of R1 allows for operation at 100 Hz. A high-performance, high-current, the miniaturized low-voltage power supply is described using a thick copper-ceramic film primary board, a directly bonded copper secondary, and flexible printed circuit power inductors. The high-voltage low current power supply features high-power leadless chip carriers, hybrid rectifier packages, and various electrical circuits, such as application-specific integrated circuits for control, turn-on protection, and current sharing.

HVM Technology, Inc. creates and distributes high-performance electronic equipment for defense, aerospace, science, and analysis. HVM focuses on producing compact high-voltage power converters; its two-stage circuit includes an inverter stage, followed by a rectifier and filter stage. The 12 V to 120 V convertor circuit is configured as an astable multivibrator with a frequency of 100Hz, and the resistor R1 sets it. The CMOS dual D Flip-clock Flop's input is connected to the output of IC1. In IC2, pins 1 and 2 receive a 50Hz pulse train 180 degrees out of phase, with the 100Hz train coming from IC1. Subsequently, current passes through the upper half of T1's primary winding when pin 1 is high, conducting transistor Q1. Transistor Q2 runs, and current flows through the bottom half of the primary winding of T1 when pin two is increased. Consequently, T1's secondary will experience an induced voltage of 120V AC. Bridge D1 converts this AC voltage into a safe and reliable 120V DC. Input DC filter C2 is the capacitor, while output filters C3 and C4 are the other.

Biasing of gas-discharge tubes, radiation detectors, etc., are only a few of the many uses for a high voltage power supply. Fencing charged with electricity from such a source could be utilized for security purposes. Here, only microamperes of current are needed. high-voltage low current power supply would exist between a "live" line and the ground in this scenario. A non-lethal but deterrent shock is delivered when this "live" wire is touched due to the intruder's body resistance.
