Your genes can also contribute to your risk of becoming overweight or obese. It is possible to prevent weight gain by balancing calories with exercise, regardless of age or genetics.

Beer belly is a result of alcohol's calories

Excessive alcohol consumption can lead to a beer belly. But beer is not the only culprit. Because alcohol is high in calories, drinking too much can increase belly fat. It would help if you only consumed alcohol in moderation.
