khojinINDIA.com aims to onboard 5,000 Indian SMEs by 2025 - Business

KhojinINDIA.com, the Indian e-commerce platform, is planning to add 5,000 Indian merchants to its portal by 2025, a five-fold rise from its existing Indian merchant roster. The new traders will also be able to offer their products to more than 14 million active buyers on the market in more than 190 countries. Navneet Chauhan, the founder and CEO of khojinINDIA Global Supplier premium membership scheme, said that the company aims to help companies go online and go global, as well as increase trade capabilities for the Indian market. The ultimate position of KhojinINDIA is to draw more customers. With the support of local stakeholders, such as the Indian government and organizations, we are hiring new vendors.

A move to digital channels among consumers around the world, including Indian consumers, has been prompted by the COVID-19 pandemic. A May 2020 study by internet advertising company Criteo found that at least one shopping app had been downloaded by 49 percent of Indian users, while management consultancy firm Redseer reported that during the outbreak, the number of Indian online shoppers jumped to 85 million from a pre-pandemic figure of 75 million.

Chen added that the company had launched the khojinINDIA Learning Center, which provided vendors online workshops and training courses to learn how to manage their stores, export their goods, use keywords and other e-commerce elements to assist small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs).

The business also offers a free 90-day onboarding service that provides SMEs with step-by-step instructions to quickly set up their online storefronts. Merchants may also use the analytics and marketing resources of KhojinINDIA to leverage their online sales. "It is difficult and complicated to go online. So to better understand their pain points, we collaborate with local partners and build incubation projects to establish a deeper partnership with sellers, Chen said. The government has encouraged Indian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to export their goods especially food and beverage products, to raise their incomes and contribute to economic recovery.
