From Struggle to Strength: A Father's Journey with Autism and the Power of Hope and Positivity is a heartfelt roadmap for fathers learning to embrace, support, and champion their children on the autism spectrum.
Part memoir, part guidebook, this transformative read by Harry Psaros sheds light on the internal battles of pride, denial, and the uncertainty faced by parents of children with an autism diagnosis. Many fathers find it difficult to assist their children with autism, often due to a lack of understanding.

In the book, Psaros admits he was also once that father, struggling to accept his son Gus's autism diagnosis. However, with time, through trial and error, he learned that his son's growth depended not only on professional support but on the active participation and positive mindset of both parents, especially the father.
"At first, I was stuck in a mindset of frustration and denial. But as I learned, being a father to a child on the spectrum is not about having all the answers; it's about being present, supportive, and open to learning. That's where true strength lies," Psaros writes in the book.

From Struggle to Strength offers readers a rare glimpse into the emotional, mental, and practical challenges fathers face while raising a child with autism. Psaros provides practical advice for building a unified family approach, from recognizing the importance of working alongside your spouse to fostering a supportive environment where the child can thrive.

The book shows how his son Gus is flourishing thanks to both parents' commitment, and it highlights the broader message that an empowered mindset can drive lasting growth and fulfillment in the journey with autism.

This book is not just for fathers; it's a resource for any family seeking to overcome the obstacles posed by autism. Psaros emphasizes that there's no step-by-step guide for navigating the autism journey, but by staying informed, supportive, and united, families can find joy and strength in the process.

"Harry shares his honesty, doubts, and fears in From Struggle to Strength. You will laugh, cry, and be encouraged by his family's journey as they navigate ASD. Harry and his determined family prove that with the right support, challenges can become joys to celebrate." — Kelly Cain, Founder of Autism Caring Center.

Filled with heartfelt reflections, actionable advice, and a message of hope, From Struggle to Strength empowers fathers to step up, accept the autism journey, and become the strong advocates their children need.
