Yas Marina Circuit’s Drive Experiences: Aston Martin GT4, Ferrari, and Other Cars in Spotlight

Yas Marina Circuit offers some of the most exhilarating sports cars like Aston Martin GT4 and Ferrari 458 GT among others.

 
The Yas Marina Circuit’s driving experiences have been very popular among its visitors. One of the reasons for their popularity is that the fans of Formula 1 get to drive on the racetrack where F1 world champions like Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen compete. And the other reason for their popularity is the cars that are offered. Yas Marina Circuit offers some of the most exhilarating sports cars like Aston Martin GT4 and Ferrari 458 GT among others. The car catalogue of YMC’s drive experiences currently has 6 cars, one of which has been very recently added.

1. Aston Martin GT4
The Aston Martin GT4 is one of the most powerful sports cars that Yas Marina Circuit offers for a driving experience. Since the car is known for its agile handling, the Aston Martin GT4 driving experience is conducted on one of Yas Marina Circuit’s most challenging track configurations, the North Handling Circuit. It has 10 corners, which include the hairpin turn in front of the North Grandstand. This makes Aston Martin GT4, with its sharp maneuvering, a good fit for the North Handling Circuit.

The car’s other features include a top speed of 300 km/h, a horsepower of 503 BHP, and a 4-litre Turbo Charged V8 engine. It also has advanced racing technology, which includes racing brakes, Pirelli Slick racing tyres, a 6-speed semi-automatic gearbox with F1 style paddle shift, and safety features like a roll cage, a fire extinguisher, racing seats, and a harness.

2. Porche Taycan Turbo
The Porche Taycan Turbo is a new sportscar, which is fully electric. It is also the latest addition to Yas Marina Circuit’s cars offered for a driving experience. The Porche Taycan Turbo aims to elevate the driving experience for the participants, with its biometric technology. This technology captures the driver’s performance during driving, by reading their heart rate, blood pressure, brain activity, nervous impulses, and emotions throughout the drive. The report is then presented in the form of the driver’s personalised 3D avatar.

The car’s other features include an 800-volt architecture, a horsepower of 670 BHP, and a top speed of 260 km/h.

3. Formula Yas 3000
The Formula Yas 3000 is a single-seater sports car designed to replicate a real Formula 1 racecar. The driving experience with the Formula Yas 3000 is also conducted on the North Handling Circuit. Weighing just 650 kg, the Formula Yas 3000 has a horsepower of 260 BHP, and a top speed of 275 km/h. The racing technology of this car includes a 3-litre V6 Jaguar engine, a 6-speed semi-automatic Hewland gearbox with an F1 style paddle shift, a carbon fibre cockpit interior, and racing brakes.

4. Polaris RZR RS1
The Polaris RZR RS1 is offered for a drifting and sprint racing experience. Called Polaris Drift Sprint, in this experience, the participants can go in a head-to-head competition with their friends and family. The Polaris Drift Sprint is conducted on two dynamic wet short courses, for which the Polaris RZR RS1 is specifically designed. The car has a horsepower of 110 BHP and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.

5. Caterham Seven
The Caterham Seven is another lightweight sportscar offered by Yas Marina Circuit for a driving experience. The Caterham Seven is a two-seater sports car, with a slim and aerodynamic shape. It is a modern recreation of a classic Lotus car. The Caterham Seven driving experience is conducted on the North Corkscrew Circuit of the YMC. The North Corkscrew Circuit has 10 corners, which include a sharp left turn into a slope, with some rapid changes in direction, and a blind corner.

The Caterham Seven weighs just 560 kg, has a horsepower of 220 BHP, and a top speed of 235 km/h. Its racing specs include a 5-point racing harness and a 6-speed SADEV semi-automatic gearbox with an F1 style paddle shift.

6. Ferrari 458 GT
Ferrari has been one of the most popular sports car brands in the world. The Yas Marina Circuit offers one of its most powerful productions, which is the Ferrari 458 GT. Driving experience with the Ferrari 458 GT is also conducted on the North Corkscrew Circuit of the YMC. With a top speed of 300 km/h, the Ferrari 458 GT is known to go from 0 to 100/h in just 3.8 seconds. On Yas Marina Circuit’s North Corkscrew Track, it has been recorded to reach a speed of 240 km/h.

With a weight of 1380 kg, the car has a horsepower of 570 BHP, and a torque of 540 Newton meters. Its specifications include a 4.5-litre aspirated V8 engine, Brembo racing brakes, Pirelli Slick racing tyres, and a 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox. It also has safety specs, like racing seats, harness, fire extinguisher, a roll cage, intercom, and an onboard camera and video system.

All of these cars that the Yas Marina Circuit offers for its driving experiences have their own set of requirements which the participants need to fulfil in order to be eligible to drive them.
