Prospective students who want to improve their skills and get certification as assessors and trainers can benefit from taking RAM Training Services’ Certificate IV in Training and Assessment program.

The program is a nationally recognised and accredited course. This is an industry benchmark for students who hope to gain the skills needed to become a certified assessor and trainer in the workplace or within the Vocational Education and Training or VET sector.

Certification IV is one of the workplace assessment and training programs created to help students hone their craft. Complete the comprehensive course in class within five days of face-to-face training and presentations, or choose the distance-learning methods available to start any time.

The training program lasts five days from Monday to Friday. For prospective students who lack the time or need to leave their current location, they have the option to access the online portal for the live or recorded classroom where they can participate from home.

The program also includes the LLN unit; Address Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills. Trainers who did not take this LLN unit will not be able to do any assessing. RAM Training Services also offers this unit as a stand-alone unit to complement existing qualifications such as the TAE 40110.

Students who participate in the course will gain skills such as:

• Assess competence
• Facilitate group-based and individual learning
• Create assessment tools
• Develop and design learning programs

This is an important certification for students who want to gain the skills to become assessors and trainers. Through this program from RAM Training Services, students may work as assessors, training officers, trainers or facilitators in a Registered Training Organisation.
