To begin scuba diving one needs to be no less than 10 years old, be in physically good health, and have acceptable swimming skills. If short in time the PADI scuba diver course is the one to become a diver. The PADI scuba divers are qualified to guide new divers or take an intermediate approach to earn an Open Water Diver certification with a maximum depth of 12 meters.

The PADI Scuba Diver consists of three aspects, which are the knowledge of development, confined water dives, open water dives, and the use of newfound skills to explore two of four Open Water courses in Cyprus.
Divers will become confident and practice problem-solving skills, manage and prevent problems within the water. The courses will enable the diver to become rescue scuba divers, learn how to respond, and practice various exercises. An experienced and highly qualified scuba diving instructor will explain the equipment needed, additional gear, and most importantly a first aid kit.
