Precision Laser and Esthetics is happy to announce we have expanded our service line to include IV infusion therapy administered by Nurse Practitioner Chris. Chris has over 15 years of combined experience as a military flight nurse, medical surge, and family nurse practitioner. He has even started IVs inside moving helicopters in the past, so is quite the expert in starting IVs in our clinic.

IV infusions are somewhat controversial in terms of whether they can live up the hype of their stated benefits or whether the placebo affect is causing the patient to generally feel better. We do our best to make claims based off the science of what these nutrients can do to your body, and yes, it is true you can receive these same vitamins and minerals through the foods you eat. The difference is, that your body can only absorb so much of these nutrients during the digestion process and you would also need to be eating foods high in these nutrients on a regular basis in the first place to receive their benefits. IV infusions increase the absorption rate of most nutrients from 50% by ingestion up to 95% intravenously, combined with the benefits of 1000 ml of saline for hydration and electrolytes that can help pull you out of a mental fog or physical slump.
