“In the past, I made a major effort to donate to the Special Olympics by giving my time and energy. Now that I am getting older and at a more comfortable position in my life, I feel that I am in a much better place where my efforts are better suited to giving financial support. This is why I have decided to make a new effort to donate my money to the Special Olympics.”

As Gayla Shrader explained, many years ago, she donated her time and effort to the Special Olympics, especially when it was held in Nashville, Tennessee. Now that Gayla Shrader is older and has had an incredibly successful career, she feels that she will be much more effective if she donates her money instead.

Gayla Shrader believes that her financial contribution to the Special Olympics will make a strong impact in the future of the games. Gayla Shrader explained:

“In my opinion, the Special Olympics is one of the greatest organizations there is. I truly believe that providing young athletes with special needs the opportunity to compete on an international stage is one of the greatest vocations in the world.”
