Josh Jambon of Jambon Boats has a busy month ahead with scholarships, sales, and ground-breaking construction

Josh Jambon is the founder and president of Jambon Boats. He is the successful entrepreneur expanding the horizons of his company, the efforts of global connections, and the hope of the local youth. Launched in 2005, Jambon boats have since blossomed into a worldwide supplier of vessels and personnel to oil and gas rigs across the globe. With 62 officers across all seven continents, Jambon indicates that oil rules the world and the economy. His response to those demands is to build the best team to bring his products to every country with a port.

Jambon says he built his company into the successful enterprise it is, through the willingness to do whatever it takes, go wherever he must, and get the work. "There is no region in the world where we will not travel to in hopes of finding work," he adds, "We specialize in crossing borders where most other companies never reach. We have attended oil and gas functions across the globe in hope of catching a piece of the pie."

"I truly love to win in the business,” Josh says, admitting, however, money is not what drives him. Rather, the thrill of winning is the force that keeps him motivated to achieve even greater successes. Along the way, he adds, “If I can help families achieve what they are looking for, I will bring them along." Holding true to his word, Josh Jambon will be awarding several scholarships to students of the local high school. Believing a bright future starts with the right education, Jambon hopes to be a source of inspiration that pushes youth to expand our borders through business connections and projects that build community, strength, and hope.

With the near closing sale of four 255-foot vessels to China, Josh Jambon will also be breaking ground on two new Microtel. The long-stay hotel rooms will offer travelers of Port Fourchon a place to stay close to the port. Currently, hotels close to the port are full year-round, and many of the 8000 travelers are forced to stay in hotels further away. The addition will add jobs locally, also to lending support to the overbooked hotels, and keeping employees of the port close to their business.
