Rhino Play UK - Leaders In Recycled Playground Equipment

Rhino Play SW have extended their expertise in the recycled playground equipment sector and become leaders in designing apparatus for all outdoor spaces

DEVON-based playground designers and installers, Rhino Play, continue to go from strength to strength since launching their recycled playground equipment products in 2022.

Combining their professional design knowledge with the recycling services of Devon Contract Waste (DCW), Rhino Play has been supplying schools, local parks and outside play spaces with eco-friendly materials to last for years to come.

Last year, the leading playground company was able to support Ide Primary School (as part of the Exeter Learning Academy Trust), as well as Hazeldown School in Teignmouth, who were just some of the lucky schools over the past twelve months to receive upgraded recycled playground equipment. The ‘no rot and no rust’ products continue to provide fun, educational and explorative play opportunities for children of all ages, enhancing their time outdoors.

Speaking of the uptake in recycled plastic playground equipment from schools and local communities, Stuart Hunt, Head of Sales at Rhino Play, commented: “Although our range of recycled play products is fairly limited due to the restrictions that come with creating bespoke apparatus using the recycled materials, we are really pleased with the amount of interest we have had for the new range.

“We always knew that recycled play products would be something that institutions would want to be looking at in the near future when redesigning their outdoor play spaces, so it was only a matter of time before enquiries and interest in our range would be coming in. Now that Ofsted and inspection boards are looking at the eco credentials of schools, nurseries etc, and taking this into account during their investigations, we are really happy that we have been able to support those looking to transition from wooden to recycled plastic.”

From holiday parks & leisure to pubs, hotels and charities, Rhino Play continues to make its mark in the South West as the go-to playground equipment supplier. Stuart and the team hope to be able to offer more products in the plastic recycled range in the near future.
