Painter and restaurant owner Zachary Zaitzeff showed his artwork at the Broome Street Gallery in SoHo, New York City, from May 15th to May 18th in 2013. The show of Zachary Zaitzeff’s art was titled “Adventures in Art.” Zachary Zaitzeff is the owner of Zaitzeff Burgers, located in the Financial District of New York City. Zachary Zaitzeff not only paints alongside his restaurant career, but also climbs mountains. Zachary Zaitzeff is self-taught abstract painter. Zachary Zaitzeff also uses mixed media on canvass in his paintings. Zachary Zaitzeff’s paintings mainly focus on abstract representations of flowers, landscapes, and still lifes. As someone who finds inspiration in the outdoors, Zachary Zaitzeff enjoys painting natural scenery.

Zachary Zaitzeff’s show at the Broome Street Gallery was well received, and photographs on his website, zacharyzaitzeff.com, show a large group of people admiring the artwork and enjoying the gallery opening. Broome Street Gallery is in SoHo, which is well known as the location of many art galleries as well as permanent installations, including “The Drawing Center” and “Broken Kilometer” by Walter De Maria. Broome Street Gallery is located at the corner of West Broadway, and it has been home to many successful shows of local artists such as Zachary Zaitzeff.

Zachary Zaitzeff is passionate about his artwork and was excited to show at the Broome Street Gallery. “It was so exhilarating to see my artwork on the walls,” stated Zachary Zaitzeff about his reaction to first seeing the completed show. Zachary Zaitzeff’s style of abstract painting and use of mixed media is influenced by his enjoyment of the outdoors and enthusiasm for risk-taking. Zachary Zaitzeff is interested in painting as well as drawing, clay sculpture, and woodworking.

While painting is his passion, Zachary Zaitzeff’s career is in the restaurant business. Zachary Zaitzeff is the owner of Zaitzeff Burgers, a popular, family-owned and operated restaurant. Zaitzeff Burgers is known for its use of organic ingredients and grass-fed beef. Zachary Zaitzeff is also an avid mountaineer, having climbed Mt. McKinley in 2009 and Mt. Everest in 2011. Zachary Zaitzeff draws inspiration for his paintings from his mountaineering trips. Zachary Zaitzeff is excited to show his artwork again in the near future.
