It is no secret that mums remain super busy throughout the day. Most mothers find it very difficult to balance their work and family life. If a mother decides to stay home and take care of the baby, they often feel like they are on a roller coaster ride where they have to work from the moment they wake up till the moment they fall asleep. Also, in most cases they feels frustrated as they are not able to go out of the house much and also cannot go to work. But the most common complaint that can be heard from mothers in this stage of their life is that they are unable to look after themselves and cannot find any time for themselves.

Most mothers think that the factors that lead to their poor health are lack of sleep or improper sleep, not able to find the sufficient time to complete their daily exercises and eating a lot of junk or fast foods as they don’t have the time to prepare a meal for themselves. Well, they are not wrong, but there are many other ways with which they can remain healthy in the most testing time of their lives.

The first thing to do is to make sure that you drink a lot of water. This might seem insignificant, but it has been found that many mothers often get dehydrated. Most mothers think that drinking coffee or energy drinks or soft drinks are very appealing, but at the same time they will do more harm than good for their health. It does not mean that you should cut these out completely. However, you should try to reduce their intake and replace with water as much as you can. The optimum amount of water that you should drink is 8 glasses a day. But it is always good to let the doctor or the physician decide on how many glasses of water you need on a daily basis.

Many mothers often neglect doing exercise on a regular basis as they get too tired during the day. But recent studies have showed that you don’t need to exercise for 30 continuous minutes for a minimum of 3 days per week. Now you can divide these 30 minutes throughout the day if you are unable to find the time. You can break it into three parts and do the exercise of 10 minutes, 3 times a day. This will give the same output as a 30-minute workout. You will also get the same benefits even if you break it into six segments of 5 minutes each. This is a great way to work out, as even if the baby starts crying or the phone rings while you are working out, you can leave it and attend to your baby or the phone and you can resume later when you are free.

I sincerely hope that the health tips for busy mums will help all those in need. Just try to focus on your baby while following these tips, and it will help you to remain fit and healthy in the process.
