Grover the Clover" by Tim Callahan is a heartwarming children's book about embracing differences, self-acceptance, and the power of friendship. Grover learns that being unique makes him special and lucky.

[USA], [10, DEC] – Four-leaf-clovers are lucky, right? Grover the Clover, who stands out from the crowd because of his extra leaf, certainly doesn't think so. In author Tim Callahan's first children's book, he introduces a character in Grover who is at once both loveable and relatable to all readers who have ever felt out of place or alone. With beautifully illustrated drawings, Callahan has crafted an amazing story centered on the incalculable power of friendship and the importance of learning to accept our differences. This heartwarming story empowers children to cherish their individuality and embrace the special things that make each of them one of a kind.
With humor and fun, Grover takes readers on a journey around the globe as he visits relatives from different places in the hope of finding a way to get rid of his frustrating fourth leaf so he can be like the rest of the clovers in his life. It's only after returning home and making a new friend named Cassidy, a fellow four-leaf clover, that Grover begins to see his fourth leaf in a new light. Through the loving words of Cassidy's Great Grandma Ruby, Grover learns that being different is not a curse but rather a blessing that makes him special and, yes, even lucky.
Kathy Golden for Readers' Favorite reviewed the book and had this to say about its positive message for kids:
"I think children are going to love Grover. Some children will love him because they have felt or feel about themselves, for one reason or another, as he does about himself. Some children will love him because they will want to wrap their arms around him and let him know that he is wonderful just the way he is."
"Thank you, Tim Callahan, for such a beautiful story for children who are concerned about being different. I encourage parents to share this uplifting story with their children."
