The Centre for Leadership is dedicated to build leadership capacity amongst business and community leaders/politicians. We develop those who are prepared to lead and transform themselves and their people in the process.
Our leadership model:
Many theorists assert their leadership model as having ‘the answer’. Nobody has all the answers, rather each has a piece of the puzzle. Applying an integrative approach, pieces of the puzzle are put together to show how models actually work together, rather than one being better than the other.
The Centre for Leadership integrates models from Situational Leadership, Authentic Leadership, Transformational Leadership, Neuroscience-based leadership, Transactional Leadership, Value-based Leadership, Ethical Leadership, Emotional Intelligence, Agile Leadership, Servant Leadership and Steward Leadership.
This integrated approach places Ownership-driven leadership at the centre of the leader’s actions. This makes people feel like stakeholders, empowering them, whilst building trust in the leader. In times of crisis, it is the leader who becomes empowered. The trust which is built up during ‘business as usual’ translates as support for the leader. This empowers the leader to make bold and possibly unpopular decisions to overcome the crisis.
