We have several venues, designed to cater to a wide variety of functions and built to the best of hospitality standards. Te Papa’s waterfront location ensures a scenic view to enhance your event or function. Some of the iconic venues are;

• Icon – It can host 34 to 250 people. The venue provides a private balcony, amazing views of the harbour and plenty of natural light. Ideal for small meetings and business conferences.

• Soundings Theatre – A state of art audio-visual facility with multimedia amenities. The theatre can seat up to 328 people while the theatre foyer has a capacity of 200.

• Te Huinga – A standalone multi-room conference facility that can host many different occasions.

• Oceania – A New Zealand-themed space large enough to hold exhibitions, banquets, product launches and conferences. The total area holds up to 600 people but can be sectioned off into separate areas.

• Amokura Gallery – a much bigger venue designed for events such as exhibitions, trade shows, cocktail parties, dinners and large conferences. Can hold between 200 and 800 people.
