Fair Marketing introduces changes to its upLOCAL Authority service in response to Google's Local Pack modification from seven search results to three.

HOUSTON, TX, November 5, 2015 - Houston-based Fair Marketing has made some rapid-fire changes to its upLOCAL Authority product in response to Google Maps' algorithm shifts.

"These Google algorithm changes reduce the 'Local Pack' from seven search results to just three, making local search more competitive than ever before," said Roger Janik, Fair Marketing CEO. "Our product changes adjust the upLOCAL Authority SEO strategy in order to provide clients with better results by focusing on increased reviews and citations."

upLOCAL Authority now includes an increase in handpicked, geo-focused citation building services. Customers can now get more citations included in the package. These additional citations will give businesses more opportunities to get found, even if they do not appear in the three-pack for any given search term or location. This also helps the client improve listing authority, which increases the chances of appearing in these hyper-competitive search results.

upLOCAL Authority will also offer a greater focus on generating and posting reviews for clients. The product already includes a service which helps clients send up to 20,000 monthly emails to invite new customers to offer positive feedback. The resulting reviews are posted directly to the client's Google My Business account, delivering a vital component for increasing a company's performance in Google search rankings. These review solicitation emails also help to generate positive feedback on other important review sites, including Google reviews.

"Google's new Local Pack results are meant to be mobile-friendly and highly geo-targeted. The focus of the three-pack has mostly shifted to the business website and on customer reviews," said Janik.

Going forward, upLOCAL Authority will continue to offer local profile set-up and clean-up services which address local listings on all three major search engines. It will also continue to give clients access to a series of tools meant to help track campaign performance."
