WAGO ADDS MOVILINK® INTERFACE TO SPEEDWAY RANGE

MOVILINK® enables data transmission between SEW drives and higher-level automation systems.

WAGO has extended its IP67 SPEEDWAY I/O range by including a new module which connects up to eight SEW-Eurodrive drives to the fieldbus via MOVILINK® protocol. MOVILINK® enables data transmission between SEW drives and higher-level automation systems. WAGO's new interface (767-5204) allows all relevant process data (e.g., speed, torque, frequency, amperage and active current) to be transferred cyclically. A variety of status information, including that from drives and converters, or the heat sink temperature can also be transmitted acyclically.

Two 5-pole M12 ports connect up to eight drives to one single module, saving installation time and space, while eliminating costs for additional hardware. Two additional ports provide four configurable digital inputs/outputs for sensors and actuators. Key configuration options include: operating mode, filter, inversion, substitute value strategy, manual mode, simulation and diagnostics. The 767-5204 SPEEDWAY module can be configured via either fieldbus-independent FDT/DTM or fieldbus-dependent device descriptions (e.g., GSD or GSDML).
