Jeremy Bednarsh and his employers are pleased with the style and content of the ACTS course he completed.

Jeremy Bednarsh’s employers were pleased when he completed the HVAC Systems course given by Air Conditioning Training Specialists (ACTS). His company did not require the course but were very supportive when he decided to sign up for it. Of course, a company will benefit from superior training for its employees, as customers and clients will eventually receive better service. The course covered topics such as: troubleshooting, system evacuation and dehydration, refrigeration safety, EPA issues and the Clean Air Act, HVAC services and procedures, compressor types and services and much more. Jeremy Bednarsh was amazed at the amount of information given in the course and how relevant it was to him.

“I completed the ACTS course at their facility – which is a state-of-the-art lab where I was able to practice all of the techniques the instructors were lecturing about. This type of course is actually perfect for HVAC technicians because some of the information is simply too technical. I know I need to get in there and get my hands dirty to understand sometimes!” said Jeremy Bednarsh.

The field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning is ever-changing due to advanced technology and requirements that are being put forth by the government. Jeremy Bednarsh’s employers are always appreciative of his eagerness to learn and advance his skills. He has many colleagues who want to stick to their old ways of doing things and are resistant to change. It is understandable because sometimes people feel they will not be able to catch on to the new technology and procedures, says Jeremy Bednarsh.

“I always offer the really useful, user friendly tricks I learn in the training sessions that I attend to my fellow technicians. Sometimes this helps ease some of their fears about not understanding the newer technology, and they will be more likely to enroll in a course. Believe me, sometimes I wish that things would stay the same, but it is not realistic,” said Jeremy Bednarsh.
