For years, Jinsook Erin Cho has been studying and researching marketing, consumer trends, fashion, branding, and design. She began seeking funding for projects in 2000. After being hired to teach at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Business, her project funding began. Her first project was co-funded by the A.C. Neilson Research Center and by University of Wisconsin, School of Business.
Her funded projects were a steady stream from 2000 to 2013. Her areas of focus were primarily in areas such as the influence of information, consumer attitude, generation “Y,” and communication, whose project was funded by Parsons.
Her most recent funded projects have been focused on global studies. For example, in 2012, One of the project by Jinsook Erin Cho, “Cross Cultural Comparison in Communication Message Appeals between India and the USA,” was funded by the School of Design Strategies, Parsons, The New School for Design.
