John Camburn of Team Mates Australasia and Jacob Gough of Rapid Growth Group have joined forces upon discovering that their respective ideas and motivations blend together seamlessly.

United by the common goal of assisting as many sports clubs, schools, and charities as possible, John and Jacob have developed a unique, patented fundraising solution that creates upfront and residual funds for organisations.

With “donor fatigue” in abundance and countless causes and local groups vying for every individual’s support, there could not be a better time for the introduction of this innovative fundraising concept.

JohnCamburn is a former top level soccer player whonow operates a successful sporting apparel company. He recognised an opportunity to differentiate himself from his competitors by offering a fundraising product to assist the clubs he deals with to raise much needed funds. Realising instantly the value of his idea, he also had the foresight to protect the product by patenting it.

Meanwhile, Jacob Gough, a former grass-roots Aussie Rules player, was set to roll out a loyalty program through sports clubs and charities. In the course of developing this program, Jacob quickly became aware that an upfront fundraising solution was crucial and began preparing to run a program that would compete against Jon’s.

However, both men were faced with a crossroads when they were introduced to each other.Seeing the immediate benefits of collaborating, Gough and Camburn decided to team up to fast-track the roll out of this innovative product.

“I instantly saw many aspects of myself in John and I was hugely impressed by his product from the moment I learnt about it,” Jacob Gough says.

“It was uncanny how similar our paths were,” agrees John Camburn.

“I’d say they were parallel but, of course, they met … and I think we’re both very fortunate that they did.”

Since combining forces, the pair have enlisted the help of Tim Cheesewright, owner of world-leading call centre Marketcom.com.au, to assist in the management of the entire operation as it expands around the globe. Tim’s other business, Mortgage Savers, has acquired the major sponsorship rights to the program, indicating his expectation of how far-reaching and successful the product will be in local communities.

The business officially launches this month and already has an objective of raising over $100million p.a. in Australiaand $1billion globally by 2016.
