Educators need a voice. And it’s their own.
Teaching is one of our nation's most underappreciated and misunderstood art forms but today it’s being given a new safe space to shout, tout, flail, and prevail forward. The space is a podcast called ED YOPP, created and hosted by comedian, writer, teacher, and flailing forward specialist, Tim Clue.
The collective voice of educators has been squelched and sidelined for too long. ED YOPP is where Education voices are given a chance to break through. Do you recall the story of Horton and Lil Jojo?

Clue's collection of lively and thoughtful conversations with a cadre of super teachers aspires to recover voices that should be leading the way. For Clue, ED YOPP is a clarion call to better connect educators with the most important voices they know to be true – their own. Clue offers hope.

“Because of my work in schools I feel uniquely positioned to provide the kind of lively discussions that can illuminate, advocate, and clarify universal truths that have been lost in cross talk and red tape over schools, kids and the educators who serve.”

Clue is excited to invite listeners into a faculty lounge ready to trigger change through exchange.

"Look, it’s pretty simple. A podcast offers a way to connect with millions rather than hundreds of Educators in the trenches," says Clue. "And that's an exciting house to connect and collaborate with.”
Each episode of ED YOPP features a new "super teacher," daring to share a myriad of pain points, change points, or keep-it-the-same points, along with some treasured insights and sparkling takeaways—practical, tactical, and factual.

Ward Dales, a theater arts teacher from Albany, New York, collaborated with underserved and underprivileged students for 26 years. His approach empowered these students to create their own stories and find self-agency.

Also, great news, my second super teacher chat with Dr. Danny Brassell is now available. Danny is our nation's leader among readers and one of the most inspiring speakers for educators everywhere. His stories will lift the spirits of even our most tired and overtaxed educators.

Tim is calling on all super teachers to join his mission, or at the very least, share his new Podcast with mind mentors in need of a boost. If you know of a super teacher and would like to submit a suggestion to take part in an ED YOPP interview, send a message to [email protected].

In the meantime, keep sharing, daring and caring for minds of all kinds.
